Good news came from EMITT, the meeting point of the tourism industry, that is, the East Mediterranean International Tourism and Travel Exhibition. Participation in the tourism fair held in January increased by 25% compared to last year. This means that tourism in Turkey is on the rise. With the help of this fair, tourism professionals in Turkey and experts in their fields in foreign countries can sign joint projects in the business context, and thus we can introduce ourselves to other countries about tourism and culture and be aware of new tourism trends.

So what is EMITT and what exactly does it do?

EMITT is a tourism fair held in Beylikdüzü Tüyap and is held once a year. Businessmen interested in tourism, experts in this field and the public can attend this fair. However, the first 2 days are open to tourism professionals and the next two days are open to the public. It seems to be a fair worth going to to inform about new tourism trends or to be informed about new tourism trends, to get advice from experts on tourism issues, and to catch new business opportunities for businessmen. "In this way, Turkey has the opportunity to introduce its culture to other countries. It is one of the 5 largest tourism fairs in the world. Asian, European, Far East and Latin American countries are also among the countries participating in EMITT.

That's why we can say that the more intense the participation in this fair, the better it is for tourism.

At the same time, it has been noted that there has been an increase in demand from European and Scandinavian countries, which have not preferred our country for tourism in the last 2 years. Reservations have already started to be received from Germany, England, the Netherlands and Sweden. Supply and demand, which hit the bottom in previous years, seem to have started to recover this year.

We hope it will be a good tourism year…
