In domestic and foreign overnight stays in hotels, holiday villages, camping areas, recreational vehicle parks and caravan parks in the region, Spain showed a growth of 1%, Italy 5%, Turkey 8% and Greece 2.5% in total overnight stays in the January-April period of 2024. France experienced a decrease of 9%. These data reveal that tourism mobility in the Mediterranean region is in a general increasing trend, but there are differences between countries.

In terms of foreign tourist overnight stays, Spain increased by 6.5%, Italy by 10% and Greece by 3%. Turkey recorded an increase by 9% in this period.
