Fraudsters open fake websites on behalf of some hotels in Bodrum and copy the actual websites of the hotels. They sell holidays to citizens through the phone numbers they announce on the website through the call centers they have established. It is frightening that the websites established by the fraudsters, who apparently paid a significant amount of advertising money to Google, appear above even the official websites of the hotels in question.
It does not go unnoticed that fraudsters sell hotels with promotions and discounts. A hotel manager in Bodrum shared the following information: "There is no discount in our hotel at the moment. But on this fake website, they are selling our hotel with a 30 percent discount.
Although the hotels faced with this situation do not suffer much, the real sufferers are the customers. For this reason, everyone who purchases a holiday should carefully examine the URL of the website of the hotel they purchased from. They should purchase their accommodation either from the hotel or from reliable agencies.
