You Are the Only 'Star' in This Hotel⭐️

Have you heard of NULL STERN (meaning 'zero stars' in German), which used to be a hotel but is now a museum and has the title of the cheapest hotel in the world?

Null Stern, near Zurich, Switzerland, interestingly found itself in Geo magazine's 'top 100' list, along with many famous and magnificent hotels, between 2008 and 2012, when it served as a hotel.

The hotel without stars cost $9.53 per night. So, what would you have experienced if you had the opportunity to stay in this hotel 6 years ago?

First of all, customers were given a pair of earplugs because it was otherwise difficult to tolerate the hotel's noisy ventilation system.

Guests also had to completely forget about the luxury of a hot bath in the morning.

Customers also had to put up with unpainted concrete walls.

And yes, the hotel had no heating. Guests were given hot water bottles to keep them from getting cold at night and a pair of slippers to keep them from stepping on the freezing floors...

And there's even a lucky wheel made from an old bicycle tire to determine the order of cold showers…

Despite all these negativities, the hotel managed to host and satisfy visitors from 29 different countries a year. The slogan of the hotel, which proves that it is not necessary to be rich to go on international trips, was also quite meaningful: "You are the only 'star' here.

Nowadays, if you wish, you can visit the museum with a guide and experience the same feelings as those who once stayed in this hotel.
